3CX Status Settings

Status Explanation Call routing
Available

reachable, automatically set during office hours AND extension is online/app is active. If your computer and/or your 3CX app is offline, your status is automatically set to offline.

 

Calls ring directly; if call is not accepted, forward external calls to team and internal call to voicemail
Away

Short-term absence (break, lunch), NOT set automatically since 3CX v20 (new app). So please set status manually.

 

Forward external calls immediately to team and internal calls to voicemail or nothing.
Do Not Disturb (DND)

No interruptions wanted (focus work, meetings), automatically set during appointments or meetings, if 3CX knows your calendar. Set it manually if you dobnt want to be disturbed. 

 

Forward all calls to voicemail.
Work After Hours

Working outside official hours, weekend and so on.

 

Calls ring directly; Forward to mobile, voicemail, or designated colleague as needed. DO NOT forward to team.

 

Out of Office Vacation, long-term absence Immediate forwarding to voicemail or substitute
